With Real Intent--35 day conference preparation
At the last General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the prophet, Russell M. Nelson, issued a challenge to prepare for the next General Conference in April 2020 which will be the bicentennial year of the First Vision. I have combined various sources to create a 35 day challenge to prepare for conference. Join me if you desire or follow along with me. Love, Alicyn
“The
year 2020 will be designated as a bicentennial year. General conference in
April will be different from any previous conference. In the next six months, I
hope that every member and every family will prepare for a unique conference
that will commemorate the very foundations of the restored gospel. As you do
(these things), April will be not only
memorable; it will be unforgettable.” President Russell M. Nelson
To prepare, read
and study sections 25, 84, 107 and the account of the First Vision.
Day
One March 1 “The
heavens are just as open to women who are endowed with God’s power flowing from
their priesthood covenants as they are to men who bear the priesthood…. So, I
invite you to study prayerfully section 25 of the Doctrine and Covenants and
discover what the Holy Ghost will teach you.” Pres Russell M. Nelson
